Team Proxemics is our Austin-based robotics team. In June 2026, the four-person team took first place worldwide in the Lab Experiments Track of the What Bimanuals Can Do competition, an official IEEE ICRA event. The track simulated an automated science-lab workflow, the kind of careful two-handed work that lab researchers do: sample handling, instrument loading, and switching solvent supply lines. It ran across three sites, Vienna, Silicon Valley and Shanghai, with a single global ranking. Millennium builds on that work.
